Terms and Conditions

1. Payment

  • The first down payment is 30% of the rental price, this must be paid within 3 working days after the booking, as long as this booking is made more than six weeks (42 calendar days) before the arrival date. The booking then becomes definitive.
  • The second payment consists of the remaining 70% of the rental price as well as the deposit, which must be paid at least six weeks (42 calendar days) before the arrival date.
  • For all bookings made within six weeks (42 calendar days) before the arrival date (“Last Minute” bookings), the full rental price as well as the deposit must be paid.

The agreement will be canceled (i.e. the booking will be canceled) if the tenant does not meet the aforementioned payment conditions. CostaBlancaDreams will send an email to the tenant confirming this cancellation.

2. Cancellation

If this agreement is terminated by the tenant, the following cancellation costs will be charged by CostaBlancaDreams. All cancellations must be submitted in writing or by e-mail to info@costablancadreams.eu.

  • cancellation up to 42 calendar days before the arrival date: the deposit
  • cancellation from the 42nd calendar day (inclusive) to the 28th calendar day (exclusive) before the arrival date: 50% of the total rental price.
  • upon cancellation from the 28th calendar day (inclusive) to the 7th calendar day (exclusive) before the arrival date: 90% of the total rental price.
  • cancellation from the 7th calendar day (inclusive) until the arrival date: 100% of the total rental price.
  • upon cancellation for “Last Minute” bookings: 100% of the total rental price.

When canceling your booking, there may be additional costs involved. CostaBlancaDreams cannot be held liable for this.

3. Minimum stay, arrival and departure

During the high season (summer: July and August) there is a minimum stay of seven (7) nights (or stated otherwise). The tenant must make a reservation from Saturday to Saturday, unless the website at the property explicitly states that flexible arrival days are allowed. Should the tenant prefer to arrive or depart on another day, the tenant must contact CostaBlancaDreams. In the mid and low season, arrivals and departure times may be allowed on other days of the week and shorter stays are also permitted, in consultation with CostaBlancaDreams.

The rented property at the holiday destination will generally be available for occupancy from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. If you arrive later than 22:00 or on Sunday, then CostaBlancaDreams is authorized to charge you for any additional costs of € 50 for handing over the keys.

On the day of departure the tenant must leave the accommodation before 10:00 am, otherwise CostaBlancaDreams is authorized to withhold damages from the deposit.

4. Deposit

When booking the accommodation, the tenant must pay a deposit prior to the start of his stay to guarantee use, equipment and conditions of use and departure. This amount can vary per accommodation and will be indicated on the website at the accommodation. The amount will be charged when paying the remaining 70% of the rent. The deposit is refunded within 14 days, unless compensation has been imposed, on the bank or giro account of the tenant. The consumption of gas and electricity is also deducted from the deposit.

5. Damage

During the first 24 hours of the stay in the accommodation, the tenant must send an e-mail to info@costablancadreams.eu if any malfunctions, breakages and / or damage have been found. After 24 hours, CostaBlancaDreams assumes that no malfunctions, breakages and / or damage have been found, and that the accommodation is in good condition. During the stay the tenant must in all cases of breakage, loss and / or damage immediately report this to CostaBlancaDreams, this will be deducted from the deposit. If CostaBlancaDreams finds any breakage, loss and / or damage after the departure of the tenant, CostaBlancaDreams will report this and deduct it from the deposit. With each report, CostaBlancaDreams asks the tenant to provide the following information: name and reservation number, the name of the accommodation and the inconveniences that have been noted. Photos of the problems may always be added for clarification.

6. Insured holiday pleasure

CostaBlancaDreams advises the tenant to take out travel and cancellation insurance when booking. A cancellation insurance, for example, offers a solution in the event of a forced cancellation of the trip, but also if you miss holiday days due to illness.

7. Cleaning

The costs for final cleaning are mandatory and are stated in the accommodations on the website. This can vary per accommodation. CostaBlancaDreams expects the tenant to leave the accommodation tidy at all times upon departure. Failure to respect these rules can result in a deduction of the deposit. What is meant by neat leaving:

  • All dishes neatly returned to the cupboards, dishwasher (if available) and sink empty.
  • Oven and microwave clean, without fat layer and caked up food residues.
  • Barbecue and fireplace (if available) clean and ash free.
  • No garbage left behind.

8. Bed, bath and kitchen linen

Rent of bed, bath and kitchen linen is mandatory. For interim replacement, the tenant must rent a complete new set. This is € 15 per person.

The bed, bath and kitchen linen consists of:

  • Fitted sheet, duvet cover and pillowcase (per person)
  • 2x bath towel (70 x 140 cm) – 1x bath towel (50 x 100 cm) (per person)
  • 4x tea towel, 2x towel, 1x dishcloth (this is per linen package)
  • extra to order: beach towel (€4 per person)
  • extra to orde: bath mat (€2,50 per piece)

It is not allowed to sleep on beds without the use of bed linen.

9. Cot and / or high chair

Cot and / or highchair are not present in the accommodations. The tenant must indicate this when booking the property or bring it himself. The bed is equipped with bed and towels. If your child has quick allergic reactions to, for example, detergents, the tenant must bring his own bed and bath linen. CostaBlancaDreams is not responsible for any allergic reactions. The price for renting is:

  • Cot – € 20 per stay
  • High chair – € 10 per stay

10. Internet

It is not obvious that WiFi is available at the accommodation. This will be clearly stated on the website. If WiFi is available, CostaBlancaDreams cannot guarantee the quality of the internet and can therefore not be held responsible for this. Wifi is for normal data use. In the event of excessive use, the router will no longer function and additional costs may be charged.

11. Satellite TV

Where descriptions refer to satellite TV, this does not automatically mean that the reception includes all stations. The mainly foreign owners have decoders that are not always suitable for receiving desired stations.

12. Water and electricity

Interruptions in water and electricity supply are not uncommon in Spain. For various reasons, municipal and / or regional governments can temporarily break or reduce distribution. CostaBlancaDreams cannot be held liable for any inconveniences and damage caused by such circumstances.

13. Electricity and possible gas costs

The costs of electricity and / or gas are not included in the price. These costs will be settled with the deposit afterwards. On the website at the accommodation it will be stated whether the house also has gas. The electricity meter and any gas meter are included on arrival and departure.

The prices for this are:

  • Electricity – 0.25 € / 0.35 € per KW, or otherwise stated at the accommodation on the website.
  • Gas – 4.50 per m3, gas tank € 26.00 per% use, or otherwise stated at the accommodation on the website.

14. Swimming pool

If there is a swimming pool at the accommodation, maintenance will be done once or twice a week. The maintenance times and days are from Monday to Saturday from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm, these hours and days may vary. Every user is obliged to go into the water before using the shower to remove any creams or oils. The pool can become green due to more than these products and will be unusable for up to 3 days. If the pool is dirty or inconvenient, let it know immediately by calling 0034 602610740.

Glasses, cups, plates etc are forbidden around and in the swimming pool. Any type of manipulation by the tenant can lead to sanctions. Pay attention when the tiles are wet, they can be slippery. The pool is usually ground floor with the terrace and the house and not always lockable. CostaBlancaDreams recommends that children who cannot swim yet always wear armbands outside.

15. Number of persons

It is not allowed to enter the apartment / villa with more people than indicated on the website. The tenants must sleep on the existing beds. If CostaBlancaDreams finds that more tenants are staying in the rented property than is permitted, then CostaBlancaDreams is authorized to take measures. CostaBlancaDreams can issue a fine or oblige tenants to leave the property. The rental price will not be refunded.

16. Construction activities, noise and environmental problems

The accommodation offered generally consists of private properties that belong to different individual owners. The accommodation is not usually located on tourist complexes, so there is an unlikely possibility that unexpected construction work will take place in the area. This work is performed by homeowners or contractors with whom CostaBlancaDreams has no relationship and over whom CostaBlancaDreams cannot exercise control. CostaBlancaDreams cannot be held liable for any inconvenience caused by construction work and that has not been assigned by CostaBlancaDreams.

Noise pollution and environmental problems can occur in the area. Unfortunately, CostaBlancaDreams cannot do anything about this and cannot be held responsible for this.

17. Force majeure

In the event of force majeure, both of a permanent and temporary nature, CostaBlancaDreams is entitled to terminate the agreement in whole or in part or to suspend it temporarily without the tenant being able to claim fulfillment and / or compensation. Force majeure includes, but is not limited to: death of the owner, divorce of the owner, unannounced sale and / or taking into use of the holiday home by the owner, etc. under which CostaBlancaDreams cannot reasonably or fully fulfill the agreement be required.

If the force majeure occurs while the tenant has only been able to make partial use of the holiday home, the rental agreement must also be considered terminated for the time already used.

In such a case CostaBlancaDreams is only obliged to repay the amounts already paid by the tenant to CostaBlancaDreams. In order to continue to guarantee quality, CostaBlancaDreams reserves the right to replace the rented accommodation with a comparable accommodation.
